Went by today to drop off a project that I was going to have media planted and powder coated. The desk person seemed inexperienced and distracted, but was not able to give much detail on pricing or time to finish. Left the project. I received a call from another employee and was able to discuss more about the project and decided to just media treat the items. A second call from the owner quoted a price for media blasting which was well in excess of what I felt was reasonable. I felt like it was so they wouldn’t get the job. It worked, I drove to their shop and physically loaded my project. Would have liked to have had these discussions while I was dropping off the project, would have saved time and diesel fuel.

Take away: if you are getting a front bumper, rear bumper, or truck accessory, they probably do a decent job. Custom work, maybe not so much. Also wait and talk to the owner… his wife and son aren’t that helpful on special projects.

Our 2024 F-350 is ready to roll! Took our truck to ACIW to install a Ranch Hand front end replacement bumper fifth wheel hitch , air bags, an extra tank with tool box, and fabulous truck bed cover. Professional, courteous, and quick service. All in one day! Excellent job! Thank you! Will be back to add any other upgrades in the future!

Great experience, very reasonable prices and great people to work with. I know I might have been a little bit difficult of customer because being that this shop is 200 miles away from home for me I keep changing up my schedule. It didn't phase them one bit they worked with me to get my truck done and did an excellent job installing a gooseneck hitch and spray in bed liner for me all while working with my ever changing schedule and answering all my questions.

Ive had over 100s of parts powder coated by these guys, the first experience wasnt super great, but it was ok. Granted it took about a month and half to get the parts powder coated, the work was pretty decent, the coat was a bit shallow in some spots but it was doable. After the job was done they left my parts outside and subject to the elements and I had to grind rust and rain off my parts. I was missing a couple bolts but hey it happens, Ive worked in a custom build hotrod shop so I know how frustrating it can be to keep track of bolts, but I have a effective system LOL. I probably should have removed them before giveing them to the buisness to get powder but hey im only human I make mistakes too so il share the blame on that one 50/50.

The second experience was a little bit smoother, the attentiom to detail with the masking was exceptional, they took great care of vital parts and went the extra mile to make sure these vital parts where protected and secured. Granted there where two shallow parts where powder didnt cure properly, and aswell the gas tank I had coated was flashed with massive amounts of fisheye. They said it was due to bondo but after sanding the surface I found no traces of bondo and In all honesty i feel any traces of bondo would be revealed before the coat in the sand blasting phase before caot, since I personally sand blast old bondo out in my blast cabinet at the shop. I think they coated with a wet/dirty surface and caused the fisheye or in some odd way a foreign substance was was somehow exposed to the surface dureing the bake time. Honestly I belive the tank fell dureing the bake time amd hit the floor cureing with the dirt and trashbin the ground exsposeing a new dent. But unfortunately my memorie isnt well enough to in good conscience blame the buisness of this.

BUT every other part I asked for powder coat was absolutely FLAWLESSS, the individual who took the time to powder the parts of excess 25 parts took exstream care in masking and secureing the well being of vital components in my build, minus the flash I am very happy with the final product. Although I would have exspected a discount from the fualty coat on the tank.... well I really exspected them to correct the issue and recoat it like a proffesional would wirhout me even haveing to know about it but I have to understand they have a very tight schedule amd a substantial work load accordingto the office. BUT still I am disappointed they gave me a disgrace of a coat job instead of correcting the isssue and giveing me a outstanding product. All said in all, I dont know if they have a diffrent coater this time around but he did a absolutely exceptional job at masking and doing his best to assure vital parts where secure. After the job was complete he wrapped my parts in a very protective cushioned cardboard wich they failed to do the first time, but yet was still very impressive to see a second time.

I feel they are still working out the kinks in there routine, but I am very confident in there abilitys to get the job done, and I would recommend them if your willing to work out the kinks yourself. Good quality takes time and progress, and I feel they are going down that path.

Honest opinion of a regular customer, take what you like. I will continue to return. Maybe.

*UPDATE*

I completley forgot to mention, majority of my parts the second time around where exstreamly complicated and VERY difficult to successfully powder coat without error minus the tank. These parts required a master coater to mask and spray, which was provided.
