This place is an absolute treasure, not just because of its amazing collection of designer finds, but because the owner and team are genuinely kind-hearted. During my recent trip to Portland from Seattle, I visited the store for the first time and ended up co-hosting an Instagram Live with the owner to showcase a brand-new consignment of goodies! It was such a fun and memorable experience. Whether you're looking to consign or shop, you will not regret it! 👍🏾👍🏾

This place is great! I stopped in while in Portland for a few days, and I'm so glad I did. I found a cute Gucci Wallet! The staff was friendly and took their time to show us items in the case. Also the restroom was very clean. I would 100% recommend dropping in.

I have been in this shop a few times and feel like the staff is fairly dismissive and rude. The selection is a bit outdated. This last time, I walked in 5+ minutes before they closed (unbeknownst to me) and got yelled at by the staff as I opened the door that they were closed. Their sign said otherwise. This store is very unwelcoming and not worth your time.

Walked around for 10 minutes never greeted or asked if I needed help even when a worker was putting up clothes on hangers right next to me BUT everyone else was helped and talked to? Also if you’re going to charge $50-$100 for used shirts/dresses, you can at least take the time to arrange by sizes or colors? Everything was just hung up randomly.

I ordered a pair of boots for delivery in Montana and they were excellent! Perfect fit and I wear them constantly. We don’t have as much second hand in my town, so I love shopping through Consign Couture’s Instagram stories and getting quality items that I wouldn’t be able to get here! Definitely planning to visit next time I’m in Portland.

The prices are too high for me. Might as well shop for something new. Not designed for people middle class or on the lower end of the socioeconomic scale. All the clothing I offered, many of which were bare used were rejected. FYI: skinny pant styles are out and only designer labels seem to be accepted. For a real bargain, but limited choices check out the little second hand clothing store at the Multnomah Center senior center. I got an adorable linen off-white and gray pencil striped skirt for $1. I will try another consignment shop and then plan to donate what doesn't get accepted to the senior center store. As far as the Consign Couture place goes, it's great that this option is available for those with a lot of money. But it is only good for those in the smaller community of folks with big bucks to spend on used items.
The store cited that it is community oriented. I had a lot more fun shopping at the community oriented senior center store last listening to the conversations of others shopping there and being amazed by the 90 + year old woman who ran the shop. It's open for limited hours so check online or call before you go. I want to add that the staff at Consign Couture were very friendly and I agree that anytime we can buy used versus new is better for the environment. Clothing manufacturing takes a terrible toll on the environment with its pollution.

Tamara and Jane are incredible!!! This shop never ceases to tempt me, and the pieces I’ve purchased here are some of my most treasured. I’ve also been able to sell a number of pieces, both from my wardrobe and from my fabulously on-trend mother-in-law, and ‘buying’ new items with earned credit feels awesome. Their layaway program is great for those ‘reach’ pieces that you know will be worth it! Special events are also always lovely, and my kids are fully welcomed whenever they tag along.
