After buying from Dolls Kill so many times online, I was eager to go to their store in Brooklyn. The selection was good, they had a lot of clothes but what got me was the costumer service I received. Got my own clothes and took myself to the fitting room, it didn’t work so I folded them and left them at a counter I saw since they only had a place to leave stuff thar were in hangers and the pieces I tried didn’t have hangers. This girl comes asking if I’m taking those clothes and I told her I left it there because I didn’t know where else to put it, she goes “right there” and points to the clothes rack. Was I supposed to just leave the clothes on the floor, then? By the clothing rack? I don’t know. Then I ask her for a shoe my size, she brought it for me and basically threw it on the seat where I was waiting. Never came back to ask if I needed a different size or even if I liked it. I loved the shoes and I’d have bought them but decided to just go home and order online, no reason to go there when you can order and return if you don’t like it and don’t need to deal with their unhappiness, that apparently they direct towards the clients. Sad!

I'm giving one star, not because of the company or the clothes, but because of the service at this location. The staff was super rude. I came to pick up something I ordered online and wanted to try it on. No one helped me when I walked in, and it felt like nobody cared. The girls in the fitting room had an attitude, and one of them pulled me out of the room even though another coworker was already helping me and the fitting room was empty. They opened the curtain twice while I was changing, which was super uncomfortable. When I finished and said thank you, they just gave me dirty looks and didn’t say a word.

I’m not expecting special treatment, but at the very least, I expect to be treated with respect when I'm buying something.

I saw a dress I wanted on the website, but it was a little pricey for me to want to purchase. When it went on sale, I bought it, excited to get it for a more reasonable price. I received the dress, but the size was incredibly off. I wear a size 6, normally small to medium, and purchased a medium. It was so small I couldn't even get it over my hips.

I began the process of exchanging it for a larger size. I sent the dress back and they immediately issued me a gift card, telling me 'there was an unusual issue in the warehouse' and they did not have the size I wanted, despite confirming it during the exchange process.

I looked on the website, and they had the dress in every size, but no longer on sale. I reached out and inquired why I couldn't receive the dress in the size I wanted since it was clearly available on the website. They told me to buy it with the gift card, which no longer covered the entire cost since the sale ended.

I told them I was not interested in the dress at that price and wanted a refund if they would not exchange it. They said it was store policy to never issue refunds and that was it. They never addressed why they wouldn't exchange the dress even after pointing out they had stock. I told them I would be happy to wait a few weeks if needed, but they repeatedly told me to repurchase it with the gift card at full price.

I put in a dispute with my credit card company and thought that was the end of it. Instead, they argued back that I was trying to circumvent their store policies of refunds. I was flabbergasted that they so blatantly did a bait and switch so that I could not get the sale price on an item.

I finally decided to just pick out something else on the website that was cheaper to get rid of the gift card (around $80) and be done with the mess. I found a few dresses on sale for $20 and went to check out.

THE GIFT CARD DIDN'T WORK. It was 'no longer available'.

I've reopened the dispute and am waiting for this to be done. Do not support this company. They are shady and dishonest. If you are okay with low quality merchandise at high prices, then maybe you'll be okay, but I for one, am not.

Coming here felt like an experience rather than just going shopping. From the atmosphere to the employees working here, everything felt like a delight. I had always followed the online store but never bought anything due to my difficulty finding the right clothing for my petite body. I have received an email invite for a 1V1 VIP experience of having one of their stylists pick out an outfit or outfits that fit your style. My appointment was at 1 pm. I arrived on time with only two associates working. Even with the shortage of staff at the moment they were accommodating. They were even kind when I started picking my pieces to try on. During the 1V1, they offer free drinks and your type of music during the session. The stylist learns of your fashion taste and creates an outfit to your liking. There was no pressure of buying, which felt great, though the stylish, Mika, did such a fantastic job of nailing my style. I ended up buying most of the outfits that were recommended to me. Danny, one of the store managers, helped pick an outfit as well, and even with her sense of style, I ended up buying it as well. As for price, I was fairly surprised by how affordable the clothing was considering what type of clothing style it was. Buying one outfit won't break the bank, and they also have discounted pieces if you're on a budget. From their clothing to their accessories, everything about this place I fell in love with. They were even so nice handling a situation where I left a choker behind and came back to retrieve it the next day. In, they did give it back when they sorted out the situation. I highly recommend getting a 1V1. It is a one-of-a-kind experience that leaves you wanting to come back. If I would recommend anything, I would love for them to build a loyalty program for their customers. I definitely will be coming back, and thanks to this location, I can buy confidently from their website.

Hello, I ordered a costume & it says it must be picked up in 5 days, I am currently on vacation & will be back in 1 week. Is there any way it can be held for a few more days after the deadline. I am very excited about my costume & don’t want it to be a returned. There is no number to call the store. Please get back to me, thank you.

I have not got the chance to visit the Dolls Kill in Williamsburg Brooklyn NYC but I have seen their clothing online and they make me want to just buy everything I see. When I do go to the physical store I will make sure to take pictures viewers can see the store.
