So I decided to try Dutch pharmacy to support local small pharmacy businesses.I usually try to get my birth control close in local so it's easier to pick up. Well I got the prescription through them and went to go pick it up my birth control, waited there long line then finally became my turn and they charged me $100 for my birth control and an off-brand. I was shocked and asked them to check again that my doctor said to get that specific brand and the tall guy with gray hair said well we already tried that and your insurance won't cover it and we only have the off-brand so this is what your options are. Then they try to tell me a whole bunch of insurance are doing this changing their policy so I'm going to have to change my birth control or try something else. In the more I asked questions the more pushy he got and upset that I just wouldn't go along with it. Then I went a whole roller coaster of trying different birth control because I believe them (shame on me) finally called my insurance and they completely cover majority of all birth controls especially the one the patch. And they told me they totally got it wrong because they calculated it and they checked and got an estimate I didn't have to pay anything. So I am pissed because as a female and speaking for females that are trying to find the right birth control is a whole roller coaster. Because
1 birth controls don't fit for everyone. Some causes some side effects and some causes worse. And when a pharmacies gets greedy and tries to make you believe that they're trustworthy it's bullshitt. In a while back when I had to pick up steroids for my son's Eczema the same guy was giving me shitt how much I needed. And asking are you sure? Trying to get into my business why he needed it like he needed to know.. and so I'm done I'm going to go to somewhere else but I'm going to put my review here so people knows if any prescription that is ridiculously priced and they say it's because your insurance. Double check YOURSELF. Look I'm glad that Trump's back in office so prices ain't going to be bad anymore soon. But inflation is no joke and paying that ridiculously amount or a small prescription is totally ridiculous. I do like the other pharmacists that are their they are really nice. But it doesn't change the fact what has happened. And young people that don't have a lot of money like these Boomers here. Needs to be aware what going on.

I use to go to the
Big box stores with a pharmacy built inside.
I really can't complain about getting my prescriptions there because of the convenience, but this is where I've had problems with the big box stores where I can buy my shoes, bread, a movie and so on.
When it comes to prescription medications (DRUGs). Please keep in mind that I'm not in anyway implying that our hard working doctor's are incompetent or not professionals but as we all know, the medical field is a very overwhelmed and a busy place in today's world.
Our doctor's today have college degrees and most likely they are very good at there profession.
Now this is very important. Our primary doctor for an example will prescribe a medicine for our ear ache and then for an example our knee specialist will prescribe a totally different prescription (drug) for our knee.
Now this is why I don't buy my shoes, bread or a movie from Dutch Mill Pharmacist "A college educated pharmacist". Now I love shoes, eating my bread and watching a movie all warm and cozy. So by me making the decision about where best I should or should not put my life into a college educated pharmacist care, this is how I made an educated decision.
I know that Dutch Mill Pharmacy will examine each prescription to make sure that the foot specialist and primary doctors prescriptions do not cause harm or possibly kill me, simple by mixing the two or more prescriptions that I have to take as prescriped.
Now here's even better news!
Now I can go out & buy myself a brand new pair of shoes, get my favorite freshly baked bread to eat while watching that fantastic new movie while getting all warm and cozy with my love one.
Basically now I know that each professional person that's involved in each and every step, is now looking out for not only myself but they are keeping our whole entire community safe!

Always helpful! I really enjoy their online refill option on the website. The wait times, if any, are only a couple minutes. I can be in and out in a very short time. Their later hours and Saturday hours are helpful to get a refill outside of the work day. Highly recommend!
