The cut was good, but it lasted less than 15 minutes. No products were used, and they didn’t even wash my hair. They sprayed my bangs with water and blow dryed them, and that was the extent of it the service. I wouldn’t be upset if it hadn’t been $54.00 + tip. I’ve been to a lot of salons and have never been charged so much for so little. I even called and spoke to them in case there was a mistake and they offered no partial refund or anything. Definitely go to a different place in town if you want your moneys worth!

Eyebrow wax was great. Friendly service. My hair color is not so great. 😩 I will admit, while I was there, I was not sure, but I thought I would give it a chance. Nope. Not very evenly colored and the front is more red than the rest of my hair.

UPDATE: While in California for my niece's wedding I visited the hair salon I went to for 15 years. My stylist, who is also the owner, helped color correct it. I still have the red but it is evenly colored. Again, I did want more red, just not bright red. I

Lauren was SO amazing. This is the first time i’ve been to this salon and the first time i’ve walked out of ANY salon happy!!! And the lady who seemed to be in charge was so attentive to all of stylists offering advice when wanted.

I received a gift card for Mother’s Day so I could treat myself to a massage and a couple of pedicures. While my massage was good, my pedicure was horrible.
My pedicure was supposedly booked with a certified person, but during my massage it was changed to being with a student apprentice. That should have been my first clue because it is a duplicitous practice.
As for the pedicure itself: the scrub wasn’t scrubbed at all, it was lightly wiped on and then rinsed off. My cuticles and calluses were not properly addressed, and the painting is a joke. I was also still cleaning the clay mask off myself the next day. When my husband asked to see my feet that afternoon, even he said “you got a pedicure?!?” Honestly, he should have taken $53 and flushed it down the toilet and then had our 6 year old paint my toes, it would have been better workmanship.
If Expressions is going to charge full, standard price for a pedicure done by a student apprentice, management needs to insure that student is at least competent.

I was very disappointed by my hair service. I asked for a balayage, and showed my stylist pictures of what I wanted. I asked if this is something that could be achieved and she said yes. My hair looked nothing like the picture by the end and she gave me an ombre, not a balayage. I have had many balayages done before and this totally ruined my hair. The blending on the top was uneven and blotchy, and my ends were green. At the end of the service, she did not even turn me around to see my whole head. When I got home I was horrified. I called immediately to ask for someone to fix it. Thankfully she was very nice and redid it for me the next day with some help. The results the next day were much better but the technique and blending were still not even. My hair was fried on the ends and I went somewhere else to just dye it one color and cut it shorter. Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses, but I would rather be told that a service cannot be done than having my hair damaged/messed up. Overall it was over $200 and 6 hours waisted. I will not be returning 🙁
