I was very surprised and impressed with this facility, considering the fact that I could not find any photography stores in the Tampa Bay area except for Orlando and that facility only worked on cameras and not sell them….

I live out of state and we had a camera disaster while in Florida. This was the closest camera shop, so I called them and Michael was fantastic with helping us get us back on track. He went out of his way to accommodate us and get us everything we needed. Incredible customer service, great selection of gear, and reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

We visited this past week to purchase all of our equipment for the portrait studio we are opening. We were between here and a store in Miami and I am so happy we ended up here working with Michael and Donovan. I texted the number on their website in the morning to ask a question before we made the trip and was responded to by Michael who gathered information about exactly what we were looking for and had options ready upon arrival to speak to us about. They were extremely helpful, patient and supportive walking us through what we needed as new business owners without trying to sell us things we didn’t need. Donovan and Michael took their time educating us and teaching us as we went. After doing research online I was very concerned with the cost of what this venture was going to look like. I was more than happy with the final cost of everything for all the professional equipment and backgrounds purchased. They were wonderful humble people and we are so happy we met them because we will definitely be back. I would highly recommend them for all your studio and camera needs. After going here, I wouldn’t consider ever going anywhere else.

Excellent experience at Johnson PhotoImaging. An amazing selection of camera, camera lenses and other products. I had a great experience with Michael and Ship. I had inquired with the shop about the Fujifilm x100vi, and of course it is so hard to come by. I was added to the list and long story short, I had one in my hands a month later. My husband picked it up for me and he said his experience with Ship was great. He was super knowledgeable and had a great convo with him. Thank you once again. I am so excited!!!

Recently moved to the area and found Johnson’s on the Manfrotto website as a reputable distributor. I called the location to determine if they carried the camera pouch I needed (nano vi) but unfortunately never had the opportunity to ask because the associate who answered the call, Leo, was so rude. I make a point to support small, local businesses wherever I live but I would rather drive to Tampa where the next closest Manfrotto retailer is located, than drive seven minutes up the road to shop and Johnson’s and risk dealing with less than mediocre customer service.
