Super awesome rad queer store, very welcoming, tons of props, glitz, makeup, clubwear, and costumes. Staff were super friendly and helpful, got a great recommendation for a birthday gift and picked up a sexy bodysuit at discount. Drew's got great hustle without the BS. Love this place and all the people that work there. My pooch tries to visit them daily they are so lovely. Drew always greets us with some humor, a treat, and whatever else we may need in that moment. He and this store are truly delightful. I always see something I'm interested in when I go and I haven't even looked at the costumes yet.

Drew helped set me up for a five-night, five-costume-theme event. His suggestions were impeccable, and even his offhand thoughts about what would and wouldn’t work were uncannily accurate. I went to Metro with my 6yo to find him a pirate hat. The selection was awesome! There were maybe 20 to choose from and multiple that fit him. We found one that he really loved and it completed his costume very nicely.

I was asked for my bag on the way in. I was a bit taken aback, but there was a sign on the door. I realize how hard it must be to be a small business owner where petty theft can make the difference whether or not you can keep the doors open. While I was there, they were asking everyone for their bags. I'm an over 40 white mom and I had to hand over my small bag and everyone else I witnessed walk in did too. Metro has really stood the test of time... Probably partly because of some of these annoying policies. I've met the lovely owner who is an immigrant and Latina. I can only imagine how stressful Halloween is there. But I love shopping locally and would hate to have Spirit Halloween or Amazon be our only options.

I’ve never had an issue here over the years. However turns out that is because I am white, unfortunately. My friend who is not white was treated horribly and experienced some pretty blatant racism. Turns out this is a pattern here. I will therefore never shop here again, and encourage everyone to do the same.

Such a great shop. There's so much variety and I always find at least one thing I need. The staff is super helpful and very friendly. The manager Drew is a diamond, I left some of my personal stuff behind after leaving and he chased me down the street with it.
