My ProLine 2950 sits in the Saint Lucie River in Stuart, FL., which is extremely rich in nutrients and therefore requires monthly cleaning by divers which totals up the cost over the course of a year. Then you add in the cost of being hauled, cleaned and painted twice a year and all of a sudden you’re looking at 6 - 8 thousand a year in maintenance fees.
I did a lot of research on this and decided on the Sonihull Ultrasonic Antifouling System as it was rated best and most efficient. I contacted them for information and they put me in touch with Juliana from Pragatiyacht.
I am a Service Manager dealing with customers all the time and I will say that it was truly a pleasure to work with a company that is that efficient. Answers to my enquiries were fast, answered my questions and more. The decision really was a no brainer.
Then we came to the installation of the system which impressed me even further, they kept me informed every step from the ordering the part, it's arrival and setting day and time they could be at the boat. They arrived as promised, got right to work and didn’t stop until the system was installed. Once the preliminary installation was done they took a 20 minute break for lunch and were back finishing up. The installation took a total 8 or 9 hours, and I can’t wait to see the results after my next, and hopefully last, bottom cleaning. I will keep you informed.
