I’m big on used items to reduce waste & save $$; Matt and Cody were both super friendly and helpful when I said I was looking for a decent TV and monitor for my PC. They found me just what I needed, made sure everything was working, were totally upfront about any tiny flaws in the items, and found all of the stands & wires needed for both items. Offered a GREAT deal on it all too!!

I’m new to Iowa City and found Second Life Technology via Google searching, so we weren’t sure what to expect when we pulled up, but we were welcomed in warmly! Their warehouse/garage setup made a lot more sense when Matt explained they primarily do e-waste recycling, parts salvaging, and online sales (also good things to know, as my previous place of residence didn’t have resources for these kinds of things).

Thank you for the pleasant experience! I’m honestly hoping I’ll need some more pre-loved electronics in the future just to stop in and say hi again, haha! I love to support local businesses like this. 🙂

I can easily recommend SL Tech. They are quick to respond, punctual for pickup, and overall very easy to work with.

My IT department has retired a ton of equipment in the last couple years, so I have worked with Matt and the SL crew several times, and they have always been fantastic.

I have used Second Life for two different Mac issues and both experiences have been excellent - both fast and inexpensive, with good communication and high quality work. Highly recommend if you’re looking for someone to take old computers off your hands or if you need inexpensive parts.
