I had the best experience at True Society- Portland. Alyssa was seriously the BEST, from the moment I met her I felt like she truly listened to me and what I was looking for as well as being understanding about my previous experiences dress shopping. She was so helpful in the dressing room and made me feel so confident. I was able to go out with her to pick a few dresses and then when we were able to narrow down my likes and dislikes in finding the ONE. She went out and brought back two more options, the first of which was MY DRESS. I had a little bit of commitment issues but seeing myself in the dress and feeling supported but not pressured I got emotional and knew I had to say YES to the dress. I would highly recommend shopping at True Society when looking for your wedding dress.

To all brides still trying to decide where to shop for the most important dress you’ll ever wear… True Society is a MUST go!! As the first daughter/granddaughter to get married, I had no idea what to expect out of dress shopping or how it worked outside of what you see on Say Yes to the Dress. But from the MOMENT I stepped foot in the shop, my entourage and I were welcomed excitedly, warmly, and were cared for. I had the joy of working with Jordan who made me feel so incredibly comfortable and well taken care of. They’re selection was vast and all stunning, but she knew exactly what I was looking for, what I wanted, what would compliment my body. I’m so proud to say that True Society was my first and final dress appointment thanks to Jordan helping me find my dream dress!! Jordan, THANK YOU for caring for not only me, but my family so well! You absolutely made this experience for us so impactful and we are so grateful!! Thank you to all the other wonderful staff at True Society who helped make the finding and purchasing of my dress so special!!

I am getting married 10/2025 and started my dress search 11/2024. True Society was the first (and, as it turns out, last!) appointment I made. I completed the forms and questions online, had an intake phone call to sus out details, was able to submit my preferences and pictures of my ideal dress online, all within 5 days of my appointment.

Hilary assisted me and I could not be happier. Immediately she was knowledgeable, so helpful, and I ended up "saying yes" to the first dress she brought for me. She listened to my preferences, only chose dresses that fit our vision, and created a comfortable and incredibly pleasant experience.

Highly recommend True Society, and more specifically, Hilary 🙂

Absolutely wonderful experience at True Society. It’s a beautiful and elegant shop, with great areas for you and family and friend who join. They have large array of dresses in all different styles. Alyssa was my consultant and she was fantastic! This was the first dress shop I went to and I was 100% not expecting to buy a dress. But with Alyssa’s help and guidance I found my wedding dress!! She made me feel comfortable and beautiful even though I was dreading shopping for a dress. I tried on only 4 dresses before number 5 was my dress! Alyssa took me to the show room and we grabbed a couple dresses and with each one I tried on I would give her my thoughts and what I liked and didn’t like, she listened to what I said and used that while grabbing a few more dresses to eventually find the one! She had me try one on for giggles, just to see, but that added more fun. The owner even stopped by to say hi and talk with me and help my mom take some pictures. My mom and I were very impressed and beyond happy with the experience at True Society! I highly recommend!

Sabrina was so amazing in helping me find my dress for my wedding day. I didn’t feel like she was trying to push me to make a purchase at all, which I was worried about. Overall the appointment went very smoothly. I did not come with the intentions of purchasing a dress. I just wanted to try a bunch on and get a feel for wedding dresses but I very much ended up leaving with a dress on its way!! Only the second shop I went to. Very pleased with my experience and will recommend to any future bride.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about True Society in Portland, OR. I had this gut feeling from the moment I had a connection over the phone with the store Manager (Alisha) - she’s so wonderful and heard over the phone what I was wanting and pulled a couple dresses for me. Serendipitously enough, I ended up picking the dress she pulled for me!

Hilary and her were absolutely amazing and I cannot say enough about the both of them - they spent so much time loving on me during my special day! Thank you ladies!

If you are a bride in the Portland area, you HAVE to go to True Society. True Society was my first of two wedding dress appointments. I didn't realize how amazing the experience was until I went to another wedding dress shop, only to go BACK to True Society and find my dream dress.

I had Hilary as a stylist, and she was an absolute dream. She knew what I wanted before I even did, she is professional and personable, and made me feel so comfortable and confident in every dress- it was so hard to choose! However, what I think it came down to in the end was envisioning what I wanted to look like on my wedding day, because even though I could see myself in many dresses Hilary chose for me, I had to visualize what I wanted to look like on the day. Hilary pointed out many details that I would never have thought of to help that visualization.

Wedding dress shopping can be an overwhelming process with plenty of decision fatigue, but in many ways, Hilary made the process simple and exciting, and I wanted to go back to True Society just to make my decision with her because she made me feel assured in my decision. I cannot recommend True Society and Hilary enough.

What a beautiful boutique! True Society was my second (and final!) stop when searching for a wedding dress. I truly wish it was my first as it was such an incredible experience. Riley was my stylist and let me just say, she was made for this industry. She was AMAZING! She was so transparent about prices and made sure to only grab dresses within my budget. She has a very bright and bubbly personality and made me feel like a princess for the entirety of the appointment.

The first bridal shop I went to left me feeling stressed, overwhelmed, and lacking hope. Don’t make the same mistake I did; go to True Society FIRST and feel the way every bridal shop should make you feel!
